The American Telugu Association (ATA) was formed in 1991 as a national nonprofit charitable organization to preserve and promote the social and cultural values among the people of Telugu origin living in North America.  Since then, the ATA has undertaken several charity projects to help needy people in the United States.

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, as part of their community services, the ATA Dallas Committee donated an extraordinary amount of food and toiletries to Northgate United Methodist Church’s Food Pantry.  Included in their donation were canned meats, canned beans, boxed juices, water, chips, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni & cheese, fresh apples, bath soap, hand sanitizers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and bathroom tissue.  What a tremendous blessing to receive such a large assortment of needed supplies!  The Northgate family and the families Northgate serves are so very thankful for ATA’s generosity and support.
