We are excited to welcome Edwin Zarate as our new pastor at Northgate!

Pastor Edwin comes to us from St. Marks UMC in Mesquite, where he has served as senior pastor since July 2014. His first Sunday will be New Year’s Day.

Reverend Zarate received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Luzon, Philippines; Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in the Philippines; and received his certification in Spiritual Direction at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University in Dallas

He is married to Janice Chaarmi Zarate and they have three grown children: Ninna, a Fashion Design student; Saro, an AV Tech; and Diwa, a high school sophomore.
