A new Introduction to the Apocrypha study on the Second Book of Esdras begins Monday January 5th. There will be a 30-minute video each week on the website followed by the Zoom discussion session at 7:00 pm on Monday evenings.

Second Esdras describes Ezra’s “visions” including a mystical vision of the heavenly Jerusalem. A major theme of the book is how a good God can allow bad things to happen. This study also serves as an introduction to the Apocrypha and the Septuagint.
