Maintaining the Northgate Connection

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2). This familiar verse seems particularly relevant for the troubled times in which we find ourselves. The corona virus has left no aspect of our daily lives untouched. Social distancing seems contrary to the sharing of Christian love – and yet, staying physically apart is one of the best things we can do to keep everyone healthy.

We are exploring new ways to continue the Northgate connection. Pastor Orr will be presenting his message through Facebook Live on Sunday, March 22nd, at 10:45am. You can click on the Facebook icon at the bottom right corner of our home page to view it live – or you can watch it later, after it’s been posted to the Online Sermons page.

The North Texas Conference has also set up a special online giving portal to enable folks to donate to Northgate online. Please note: you must use the church’s full name (Northgate United Methodist Church) to be sure that Northgate will get full credit for your donation. Click here to be directed to the North Texas Conference Site to make your gift to Northgate.

Also – don’t forget to do any shopping you do with Amazon with the church’s AmazonSmile account. There’s no extra cost to you, but Northgate will receive a percentage of your purchase. Just click the Amazon button at the bottom of our home page.
