Pastor Freddie Orr led a five-week study of Max Lucado’s “He Chose The Nails – What God Did to Win Your Heart”. This Lenten Study was both challenging and enlightening. Here’s a brief description from Melba Dobbins.

In this book, Max Lucado reminds us of God’s many promises. He reminds us in the soldiers’ spit; he reminds us in the crown of thorns; he reminds us in the nails, through the two crosses, through the torn flesh, through the wine-soaked sponge, through the empty tomb. But most of all he reminds us that Jesus chose the death on the cross to save us from our sins. He Chose the Nails and left us this message: “I did it for you. I did it all for you.”
